Gegründet 2001 als CS-Team hat Earthquake Gaming seitdem mehr und mehr internationale Anerkennung genossen, durch Teilnahme an allen großen Gaming Events wie WCG, ESWC und der ESL Champions League. 2005 wurde Earthquake Gaming zur Multi-Gaming-Organisation, nachdem sie ihr momentanes Fifa-Team verpflichteten, welches zweifellos zu den besten in Europe zählt.
