Q: Wasn't this headset once known as the Icemat Siberia?
A: Yeah, it was. We launched both SteelSeries and Icemat back in 2001 and decided to consolidate products and branding in 2007. It's still the same award-winning product.
Q: What the difference between this headset and the H-line (5H v2, 4H and 3H) of SteelSeries headsets?
A: We designed this headset for multi-functionality. Everything from the separate microphone to the cord length on this product was designed so you can use it both for playing games and use it with MP3-players, handheld consoles and such. And, as you might have noticed, the visual design makes a somewhat bigger statement about personality. ;-)
Q: How much did you pay Basshunter to use this headset in the "DoTa" video?
A: Basshunter called us up and asked for a few pieces to use in the video, as he really likes the headset. No money ever exchanged hands.
