Reviews and awards for SteelSeries Siberia Neckband:

English review by [OC]ModShop (Rating: 4/5)

"The design of this headset is phenominal. I just wish that there was a set with the same features as the Siberia Neckband, but with audiophile quality and active noise cancellation technology. This set tries to be everything to everyone, and it is when compared to other gaming headsets in its price range."

English review by Middle East Gamers (Rating: 9.2 / 10)

"The headset performed remarkably well in both titles leaving no room for doubts. Every shot fired in UT3 was audible and every battle cry in TF2 was enjoyable. This headset, without a question has excellent bass performance and it shined when used with our collection of 80's metal. [...]

Overall, this headset performed better than our Razer Barracuda that we used for comparison with a subtler footprint than the mighty Barracuda, at the same time making us crave with its elegant and stylish looks."

"...What is this? A 360 extension in a PC geared product? Oh the horror… just kidding. In reality this was one of the really cool features that I dug with this headset"

English review by Tweak News (Rating: Tweak News Top Rank Award)

"So, the boys and girls at SteelSeries have done it again. Another superb sounding headset that will leave your ear drums quivering in glee…

With sound quality almost as good as professional studio headsets you really can't go wrong with the Siberia Neckband Headset…

I can't in good conscience knock this product because I have a big melon so despite my issues with my big ears and comfort I am going to give the Siberia Neckband headset our Top Rank award. After all, it's not through any error in design."

English review by Gearlog (No rating)

"It's obvious that a lot of thought went into both the design and construction of the SteelSeries Siberia Neckband. What emerged was a very solid product that could conceivably be the only pair of headphones you'll ever need, especially if you're the type to wear full-size headphones over ear buds when in public and don't really need noise cancellation.

The list price of $99 is a bit steep, but smart shoppers can find it at a number of online retailers for closer to $50, making the Siberia Neckband headphones a true value for their performance, versatility, and sweet style."

"What isn't without doubt, though, is the SteelSeries Siberia range of headsets are the perfect accompaniment to any budding gamer. The sound quality is as good as you would expect for the price, the microphone is clear and easy to use and the added extras make for a set that does everything you could possibly want of it."

English review by Bit-Tech

"It looks good, it sounds great and the cables are all decently sized. On top of that, the microphone is good too and I took the Siberia home to test the mic out via Team Fortress 2, where it performed perfectly. The cable is bendy and malleable and the mic itself is perfectly responsive."

English review by IGN

"The Siberia Neckband is nothing if not attractive. The shiny white plastic of the earcups is quite in keeping with popular trends in electronics these days and looks good paired with the black grills and connecting band. In use the Siberia also tends to look quite good, as the neckband style doesn't mess up hair cuts (particularly mohawks) and will let you wear a hat or hoody for a DJ-look while gaming. The integrated mic only juts a few millimeters out of the left earcup when retracted, which means you can wear them in public without fear of being harassed for your gaming hobby."

"The SteelSeries Siberia has a lot of good things going for it. The design is very different and fresh compared to what we are used to seeing and works flawlessly in some applications. Besides being shaped different the design of the cups and microphone helps to conceal that it's a headset. This makes it ideal for someone looking for a headset that they can use both on the streets and in front of a PC or Xbox 360.Another surprising feature of the Siberia is that SteelSeries has added support for Xbox 360 through a little converter."
