Having the right surface coating prevents this from becoming an issue, which was our primary reason for doing the special limited edition of his mouse. The special glossy SteelSeries coating is comfortable to touch even for long periods of time. The glide of the mouse was boosted by mounting new SteelSeries Glide feet.

SteelSeries SX is an incredibly smooth mousepad made of fiber polished aluminum with an anodized oxide surface.
