Reviews and awards for the SteelSeries QcK-line of gaming surfaces:

"Now that SteelSeries has combined the two, I think I have found my last mousepad for life, next to my coL Pad 5L. I have used both mousepads for quite a while, and for some reason I just keep going back to the QcK heavy."

"After extensive use, I was just as happy with the QcK heavy as I was when I first set my mouse on it. It's surface is excellent no matter what I was doing. Being as thick as it is, it can easily sit on uneven or bumpy surfaces but absorb the innormalities and leave you with a flat surface on top for your mouse. The thickness also makes it an extremely comfortable pad for your wrists and hands. It's response on my mouse was also very good, sometimes using cloth pads I feel like I have slower movement, but that was not an issue for the QcK heavy."

"In short, the QcK heavy takes on all the best characteristics of the popular QcK+ mouse mat, and builds on them. It still oozes class and excellent ergonomic design, something very few cloth pads can do."

"The most important quality of the QcK, as discussed above, is the tracking. While all the mousepads in our Mousepad Roundup allowed ball, optical, and laser tracking with no problems, the laser tracking in particular on the QcK+ just seemed to be on a whole different level. If I so much as tap the top of the mouse, the resulting movement is registered and displayed as a tiny cursor shift on my screen. All in all, the QcK+ is an excellent mousepad worthy of any recommendations it recieves."

"The SteelPad QcK from SteelSeries is a serious contender for one of the most comfortable mousepads I've used. I never realized that a mousepad could be comfortable vs. uncomfortable. The SteelPad QcK is easy on the arm, the hand and the mouse as it glides very smoothly and isn't abrasive. This will save your mouse feet, and your wrist as you invariably drag it across the bottom edge of your pad. At this point the QcK has found a permanent home on my main desk and now my Everglide gets demoted to standby status. In a world of many mousepads, the QcK is among the best I've ever used."

"Of all the gaming pads I've tried, the SteelPad QcK+ is by far the best to date. I have come to truly appreciate the quiet and smooth action the mouse takes across the cloth surface and the pads huge size makes it ideal for the demanding play style of low sensitivity gaming."

"Overall I'm awarding the Steelpad QcK+ a 10/10 and our Editors Choice award. It's a beautiful mousing surface and offers you the size needed for precision tasks without worrying about sliding your mouse off the edge. It's also deadly comfortable for resting your hand on. The only minus would be the shear size of the pad which is also it's selling point. Some people need a pad this big while others don't. For those of you that don't need a huge pad look into the junior sized versions because the quality is just as high with less quantity."
