shgOpen 2007 in Bella Center, Copenhagen turned out to be an amazing event with some superb gaming in all tournaments during the weekend. We at SteelSeries also enjoyed the event and meeting both new and old faces.
The Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament turned out to be somewhat surprising as some of the top seeded teams didn't live up to the expectations. One team that almost made its seed was Team Pentagram G-Shock (seed 1) that faced the top team from Latin-America, made in brazil.
mibr came from lower bracket and had to win two maps while Pentagram only needed one. Despite the handicap the Brazilians came through and one two maps which made them the winners of the shgOpen 2006 CS 1.6 tournament and €16.000 first prize.
