Installing SteelSecurity (CD-ROM)

1. Close all open applications (except Windows).
2. Insert the SteelSecurity CD in your CD-ROM drive, and the installation process will begin automatically.
3. If the installer does not start automatically, click the My Computer icon on your Windows Desktop or under Start. Right-click the your CD-ROM drive icon and choose "Explore". Locate the file "\SteelSecurity.exe" and double-click it.
4. Follow the screen prompts to install SteelSecurity. Once the installation process is complete, please restart the computer.
5. After restart, register your SteelSecurity user. You need to be online in order to do this. If you already have a SteelSecurity user, you can continue using this by following the appropriate link.
6. Enter the license key, printed under your SteelSecurity CD.

Installing SteelSecurity (download)

1. Download SteelSecurity from this page.
2. Close all open applications (except Windows).
3. Open the folder where you downloaded SteelSecurity to. Locate the file "\SteelSecurity.exe" and double-click it.
4. Follow the screen prompts to install SteelSecurity. Once the installation process is complete, please restart the computer.
5. After restart, register your SteelSecurity user. You need to be online in order to do this. If you already have a SteelSecurity user, you can continue using this by following the appropriate link.
