g3nerationX was founded in july of year 2001 with the aim of achieving recognition on the Brazilian and South America scene. After less then 6 months of operating, g3x goes to WCG Korea and ends up on 7th place.
After this the team got a worldwide recognition and has attended several international events through time such as The CPL, World Series of Video Games and CPL World Tour. Today the team is one of the most popular teams on the Counter-Strike scene and the most winning multigaming organization in South America having players in Counter-Strike, Need For Speed, Fifa and Warcraft III.
