SK Gaming was founded in 1997 to play the most important games in the fast growing, and at the time brand new, field of electronic sports - eSports.
SK Gaming was the first organization in the world of FPS gaming to introduce contracts and salaries to its players, and was also the first organization to receive a fee for a player transfer. SK Gaming is active in a number of games and has won major international events like CPL, WCG and EuroCup.
SK Gaming and SteelSeries have been partners in gaming for several years and have even cooperated on product development, resulting in the SteelPad S&S, which according to many gamers is the best plastic mouse pad ever released.
