Q: Wasn't this headset once known as the Icemat Siberia In-Ear?
A: Yeah, it was. We launched both SteelSeries and Icemat back in 2001 and decided to consolidate products and branding in 2007. It's still the same award-winning product.
Q: What the difference between this headset and the H-line (5H v2, 4H and 3H) of SteelSeries headsets?
A: We designed this headset for multi-functionality. Everything from the separate microphone to the cord length on this product was designed so you can use it both for playing games and use it with MP3-players, handheld consoles and such.
Q: Why did you make an in-ear headset?
A: This was actually requested by a number of Asian Warcraft III-players. We received requests about making an in-ear product that would be easier to transport than our normal headsets, which should also offer passive noise cancellation, and the result is this product. Also, while in-ear buds were nothing new when we released this product, there weren't any (as far as we know) in-ear headsets available on the market.
